Alvarez Guitar Company is based in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. This company manufactures all kinds of guitars – electric, acoustic and bass guitars. It also manufactures classical guitars. Currently, this company is owned by ‘LOUD Technologies’. Alvarez has its plants in China and Japan.

A Japanese luthier called ‘Kazuo Yairi’ established this company who worked with an American company and designed high quality, hand made instruments.

This tradition has been forward by the Company and even today, it does not use computers or other devices to build guitars. These guitars are built by skilled and passionate luthiers. The Alvarez guitars are made of quality woods and they are available at affordable prices.
