BC Rich Guitars

B.C. Rich Guitars is company that specializes in angular and extreme shaped guitars that are best suited for the heavy metal music genre. BC Rich was founded by the late Bernardo Chavez Rico in 1969. The B.C. Rich guitars are manufactured in Asia.

Actually, BC Rich began prior to 1969, but it turned to electric instruments at that time when customers requested more due to the growing popularity.

In 1971, the first original design ‘Seagull’ was launched, by BC Rich. This guitar gave a subtle indication about the future direction of the Company. This single-cutaway design instrument was quite successful.

B.C. Rich Guitars dabbled in making conventionally shaped guitars like EMI, Blaster, Warpig and Gunslinger models. However, these instruments were never as successful as the other ‘metal-style’ models.

Models -

Warlock - The Warlock guitar has an aggressive body design with dual BC Rich warlock humbucker pickups and a neck with 24-frets. The body is made of Agathis wood and the neck is made of maple with a rosewood fingerboard. It has chrome hardware with one-piece adjustable bridge. It’s a masterpiece.
Warbeast – This aggressive guitar is just great. This instrument delivers heaps of some really malevolent features. It has a bolt-on neck with a basswood body. It has a SOB 3 to a side Headstock. It has sealed die cast tuners. The BC rich Warbeast Neck radius is 12” with width of 43mm. The fret board is made of rosewood with 22 jumbo frets.

Outlaw – This guitar features Rockfield Mafia pickups and hollowpoint inlays on its beautiful neck. It has custom revolver knobs. The BC rich outlaw body is made of basswood while the neck is of maple with satin natural back. The body thickness is 45mm. The radius of neck is 430mm. It sounds great.

Eagle – This model is truly a Classic and a Deluxe too. Its classic neck-through body with deluxe appointments makes it look a rocker. It features a quilt maple cap with full thick pearl inlays. BC rich eagle has Rockfield™ SWV pickups and Grover Super Rotomatic tuners. Its ‘Tone-Pros’ bridge produces equally striking sonic recognition. It’s awesome.
