Cheap Hofner Bass Guitars
Höfner is a German musical instruments manufacturer. The company manufactures guitars and basses. Hofner became popular when Paul McCartney of ‘The Beatles’ used its left-handed Höfner 500/1 model. Even today, some musicians use the Hofner ‘Beatles’ bass in live performances.
Models -
Hofner Icon - This HOFNER guitar is made with the authentic details taken from the original model, the ‘Hofner Icon’ series. This great instrument features a spruce top with back and sides made of beautiful flamed maple. Its semi-hollow body and ‘Set-in’ design neck offer warm and round tone to the players. It has a fret board of Rosewood. This guitar has a scale length of 30" scale and 22 frets with Dot inlay.
Hofner Cavern 500/1 – This Hofner guitar recreates the first Hofner bass of Paul McCartney (played in Hamburg and Liverpool). This instrument has a violin-shaped hollow body made of German spruce. This model has a flat and not curved back. It features a Maple neck with a fret board made of rosewood and the number of frets is 22. This instrument has a trapeze tailpiece with a floating ebony bridge and Hofner diamond humbucking pickups. It also has pyramid gold flatwound strings.
Hofner H500 – This is a left handed bass guitar. With a vintage look and an internal sustain block, this instrument creates a modern sound that is deep-resonating. This guitar features a maple set neck and rosewood made fret board. It has mother-of-pearl dot inlays and the signature Hofner violin bass headstock. It features a brass trapeze tailpiece and a glossy spruce top and maple back and sides. It has an ebony bridge and nickel-plated hardware.
