Cheap Cort Electric Guitars

The Cort Guitar Company is based in South Korea. Cort is one of the largest guitar manufacturers and it also produces instruments for other companies. In 1960’s, Jack Westheimer, an American set up connections with some Japanese guitar manufacturers to import Japanese guitars into the USA. These are the brands with which Jack Westheimer was associated – Cortez, Pearl, Teisco, Kingston, Cort, Silvertone and others. In 1973, Jack Westheimer established the ‘Yoo-Ah’ group in South Korea. Later this company was named ‘Cor-Tek. And when Mr. Young H. Park acquired the Cor-Tek company, the Cort branded guitars came into production.

Models –
Cort Curbow – This is a 5 string electric guitar. The carved-top body of this instrument is made of luthite. This guitar has an extended upper horn that gives strapped balance. Curbow has a deep lower cutaway design for free access to the frets. The rock-maple neck of this guitar extends all the way to the pickup and it gives maximum vibration transfer.

Cort X-61 – This electric guitar has Basswood body. The width of the neck is 43mm / 24F: 56mm and the thickness is 19mm / 12F: 21mm. It has a rosewood fingerboard with 15 3/4'' radius. It features 24 Jumbo frets with white dot inlays. X-61 has die cast tuners with a scale of 25 1/2''. A double locking bridge is part of this guitar. This guitar has pickup switching coil.

Cort M200 – This great electric guitar from Cort is just excellent. With a scale of 24 3/4", a joint bolt-on the Neck and a rock maple body, it just rocks. M200 has a rosewood fret-board with an Agathis arch top. The sound of the Humbucker is very powerful. Here are 22 frets. The width of the fret-board is 1F:22F=43mm:56mm with a radius of 12".

CORT M520 – This instrument has great tone and it is very comfortable to play. It features a ‘Set-in’ neck through body that is made of Mahogany. It features a 'C’ shaped neck that has a width of 43mm / 22F. The fingerboard is of rosewood. M520 has die cast tuners with white dot inlays.
