The Hohner group was established in 1857. It is the oldest and largest harmonica producer in the world. Apart from Harmonica, it produces other instruments like guitars, recorders and percussion. The rise of rock and roll forced Hohner to produce guitars in the times of shrinking sales and revenue losses.

Matthias Hohner founded this company in Germany in 1857. In 1997, a Taiwan based company, K.H.S. Musical Instruments Ltd. bought the company and today, it produces both lower priced and high quality instruments.

Models –
Hohner Revelation STD Black – This electric guitar has pro features. It looks good and also plays great. This guitar has a double cutaway design that gives easy access to the higher frets. It also has two EMG Select pickups. The body is made of mahogany and neck is made of maple. The fingerboard is made of rosewood. Revelation STD Black model has die-cast tuners and the tone controls are very good. It is a very good instrument.

HOHNER HR600 – This guitar has a solid alder body. It has the Grover tuners in black chrome. The neck is made of maple. The scale length of HR600 guitar is 25.5" and there is a Bolt o the neck. The width at the nut is 43mm. The neck is very slim and fast. There are 24 Jumbo frets. The fingerboard is made of rosewood. It has Abalone dot inlays.
It has one volume and one tone control with a 3 way switch. It is a perfect instrument for rock and progressive genre.

Hohner Rockwood Junior - This is a solidly built electric guitar. It is a small version of the big instruments. This guitar is a high-quality instrument stays in tune and sounds really good. Hohner DR500CE – This guitar features rosewood back & sides. It has a solid spruce top. It has one piece mahogany neck and maple body. The neck has a beautiful binding.
