Ibanez Bass Guitar
Ibanez is a brand owned by ‘Hoshino Gakki’ group based in Nagoya, Japan. This is the first Japanese musical instrument company that has gained a foothold in the United States and Europe. The Company began in 1908. Later it started importing guitars from ‘Salvador Ibáñez’ of Spain. When ‘Salvador Ibáñez’ Company was destroyed during the Spanish Civil War, their guitars were no longer available, so the Hoshino Gakki group bought the rights of this brand and began producing Spanish bass guitars in 1935. Initially they used the same name, ‘Ibanez Salvador’, but later changed it to ‘Ibanez’ only.
